Skin Damage

Skin damage refers to impaired well productivity. The skin value of a well is a dimensionless factor that rates actual production efficiency of a well. This factor compares actual conditions of the well’s theoretical or ideal production efficiency conditions. A positive skin value indicates some damage or influences that are impairing well productivity. A negative skin value indicates enhanced productivity, typically resulting from stimulation.

Common damage mechanisms that lead to skin damage (positive skin value) are changes in wettability, emulsion block and deposits of asphaltene, paraffin and inorganic scale.

EnovaFlow repairs the skin and restores production.

EnovaFlow is proven to reverse restricted flow of oil from producing wells and the flow of water into disposal wells and injection wells due to skin damage. Our proven proprietary process and technology do not require rig interventions. EnovaFlow maximizes your ROI with a minimal footprint on your budgets, operations and the environment.
